FILIPPINE

The coconut farm named Nardias.

Nardias – l’azienda agricola produttrice di noci di cocco delle Filippine

Backpackers and other trendy and uncomplicated people who are traveling and would like to stay for a few days or even weeks at a wonderfull place … we recommend … come to us!

For free you can just relax the soul at our place. I am a backpacker myself, so I know one sometimes desires. Low cost, nice people and comfort, these are the things long time traveling freaks love. Of course you don’t find a staff who does your laundry, or cooks and serving meals or dancing entertainers who entertain you.

Instead you’ll find a nice spot under the palm trees, in an elevated position with direct views of the sea. In 15 minutes you reach the white sandy beach with clear turquoise water. No tourism, no rip-off can be expected. Only courteous locals who guide you, who will do your laundry wash or will cook local meals.

How is cooked if there is only electricity available for 12 hours every day? What are the alternatives to watch TV? Experience up close to help how coconuts are harvested and how they are processed. That’s what we can offer you.

So if you do not need luxury and you do not mind the simplicity, you will take the good vibrations from our island with you to your next destination.

Why Nardias – The Farm?

We help local people, who live in the countryside, to an income and with employment. We take the more expensive route and produce a healthy cold-pressed virgin coconut oil on our farm. Newly listed in our family: 3 goats, 4 chickens, a rooster and a turtle (run to us during the construction).

To be a resort is not our intention and never will be so, but we are excited about visits. Therefore, we offer accommodation in small simple cabbins (kubo kubo). Or you can camp under the open sky. We can offer you a lot but we do not want to undertake any obligation. In other words, for your satisfaction only YOU are responsible.
